1
Monitor
Integrating multi-source satellite observations and geospatial data to monitor river flows and infrastructure dynamics, including reservoirs, dams, hydropower, and power transmission networks, especially where in-situ data are sparse or restricted.
2
Model
Building process-based and machine-learning models that represent infrastructure operations and human decisions, to support the planning and operation of large-scale water and energy systems under uncertainty.
3
Manage
Coupling water and energy system models within a nexus framework to assess how infrastructure responds to compound extremes and cascading risks, and to design adaptive operating strategies that strengthen system resilience.
